8:00am-8:30am (Times differ for each sport): Managers Meeting (at each sporting venues) (Note: there will be no opening ceremony in 2021 due to COVID-19)

Official Photography

There will be an official photographer for the National Primary Games for 2021. Photos will be available with photographers covering all sports throughout the weekend.

All Managers will be sent information in preparation for a successful weekend. They will also be able to collect their equipment including tickets and hats for each sport on the Saturday morning.

For all sports other than Gymnastics and Tennis, teams will compete in at least 5 matches that are 12 minute halves with a two minute half time. All teams will play a Final Series at their level to ensure everyone finishes with an exciting game. For example: In Netball there will be 17th vs 18th playoff Final. For information specific to other sports go to the sports page of the website.


Lunch will be available at all sporting venues. Local associations will be running either BBQ’s or opening Canteens for the duration of the games.


Spirit of the Games

There will be no presentation of Awards at each sporting event. There will  be one award given for each sport as this event is experience driven not results focused and this will be sent to the team that is voted to display the ‘Spirit of the Games’  – The overarching winner will receive a BlueAnt Bluetooth speaker thanks to the Telstra Store Tamworth. All runners up in each sport will receive certificates.

The Macquarie Bank Spirit of the Sport Certificates will be presented team that display excellent sportsmanship on the field, behavior off it and will be voted by all team managers, referees and sport conveners.


Social Media Competitions

A social media competition will be running the whole weekend.

We will be running a social media competition throughout the weekend with certificates awarded to one team from each sport with the best “Spirit of the Games” photo posted to Facebook or Instagram with the NPG account tagged and with the hashtag #2021NPG. The overarching winner will receive a BlueAnt Bluetooth speaker thanks to the Telstra Store Tamworth. All runners up in each sport will receive certificates.


There will be an official NPG photographer who will be taking hundreds of action and still shots over the weekend. These will be available for purchase from site.
